Evaluation comments:

“One of my favorite things right away was that the cameras came already paired with the monitor, so once I plugged everything in and turned it on, it was essentially ready to use. The cameras need to remain plugged in, while the monitor has a rechargeable battery. Overall, setup was very easy and the system was fairly intuitive to navigate without needing to spend much time with the instruction manual.”

“The video quality is very good, including great night vision. From the monitor, you can move each camera view up, down, left and right, which provides nice coverage of the room without physically repositioning the camera.”

“Each camera also has its own independently controlled night light with low, medium and high brightness settings. There are six different colors to choose from, or you can have it continuously rotate through the colors for a rainbow effect.”

“I really like that this system comes with two cameras and lets you see both simultaneously using a side-by-side split screen. You can also view either camera individually or set the monitor to automatically cycle between the two camera views every 15–20 seconds. Zoom is only available while viewing one camera at a time, which makes sense given the smaller split-screen images.”

“There are plenty of additional features, including a room temperature display with an optional temperature alarm, two-way talk, and the ability to play lullabies, music or white noise through the cameras.”

“Most importantly, the system doesn’t require WiFi, which keeps things simple and means you don’t need an app or account to use it. This may also appeal to parents who prefer not to use a WiFi-connected camera for security/privacy reasons, and means the monitor will continue to work even if your home WiFi goes out.”

“I liked having two cameras that I could easily view and control from one monitor. The split-screen option is especially useful if you want cameras in two different rooms or want two views of the same space.”

“I also really liked the night vision and the ability to move the camera remotely for a better view.”

“The independently controlled night lights are a fun extra feature, too.”
