Multi instrumentalist, Megan Schoenbohm, is an earthy, edgy, free-spirited songbird, who takes the audience on a mellifluous journey through themes of kindness, humanity, creativity and imagination in her debut children’s album, Bubba & Boo. The music is catchy & fun, and is sure to get the whole family singing along.
From our music judge:
“One of the first songs on Schoenbohm’s CD is a happy, uplifting song “Peace and Love,” and her music does truly have a peaceful and lovely quality to it. Her songs evoke a breezy, gentle vibe that will easily engage and amuse little ones. She doesn’t overly complicate her music; however, her use of a beatbox and various percussion instruments does create some lively rhythm patterns. Schoenbohm, who sounds a bit like Lisa Loeb, also packs a lot into this 10-track CD. There are songs for the imagination (“On The Big White Page,” “My Pet Dragon”) and songs with messages (“Friends We’ll Be” and “Thank You,” along with a few well-known tunes (“Jenny Jenkins,” “Waltzing Maltida” and “Water Is Wide”). Schoenbohm gets a big “yeah!” for Bubba & Boo.”
