Door 24 Plus by Curriculum Associates

Expanding upon the award-winning Door 24 app and available for free on the App Store, Curriculum Associates’ Door 24 Plus is a new educational game for the iPad. Harnessing the power of game design, it establishes a foundation based on fact fluency and then builds computational fluency by providing practice that requires students in grades 1-8 to solve problems using basic facts, number sense, and algebraic thinking.

Why we like it: I’ve never seen an app that covers such a wide age range! We’ll get lots of use with this one, spanning many years and used by all my kids. Great graphics and a game angle, mixed with repetitive math problems makes learning math super fun!
