Full Circle is a fun and educational family game. Using the pool of letters in the middle, take turns spelling words around the outside of the disc. Your word must include at least one letter from the end of the previous word. The more of their letters you use, the more points you make them lose. You score one point for each letter you use in your word, and the previous player loses one point for every one of their letters you used.
Evaluation comments:
“The setup is pretty easy, and we loved shaking up the letter tiles and getting ready to unscramble them to create words (no proper nouns allowed).”
“I love that this is family friendly (the youngest player goes first) and that it’s a hands-on game that uses spelling and critical thinking in order to inspire creativity and competition between players.”
“The objective of the game is fun — spell as many words as possible by using new tiles you choose PLUS your opponents’ letters (from the words they previously spelled).”
“The game is unpredictable and ever-changing, adding to the fun factor.”
“Once you have used most of the letter tiles, things get interesting. You are challenged to be even more savvy and strategic in your ability to think up words using a limited amount of letters.”
“Because you can “steal” letters from your opponents, which makes them loose points, the seeming winner can change at any moment. This creates a fun tension and keeps everyone on their toes.”
“I used the game as an opportunity to encourage my son to create longer words and think about spelling in his head before it was even his turn.”
“This game is fun and educational, too.”
