Go Fish US History takes everyone’s favorite childhood card game and combines it with US History. No longer do you ask, “Any 4’s?” Now you ask, “any presidents?” Not do you have any kings but rather, “Do you have any Scientists, Authors, Sports Legends, Women in History, etc. There are 13 categories with 4 subjects each and each subject has a series of facts that are used in games 2 and 3 of Who’s Who and What’s What. Know your history and you are on your way to becoming the BIG TUNA!
Evaluation comments:
“This is most definitely educational (52 cards with facts on them) and fun to play.”
“The categories and subjects are all very interesting and facts that were chosen on the card to help describe the topic are very engaging for both kids and adults.”
“I love the educational aspect, so many facts on such a compact game. It can go anywhere and be played anytime. There are three suggested games, two of which are more challenging (i.e.- player states the facts on the card as clues and the other player has to guess the subject).”
“An educational twist on the traditional Go Fish card game.”
“This is fun for both kids and parents! Great for family game night or when on the road.”
“I was initially hesitant to introduce my 9 and almost 6 year old sons to this game. I assumed there would be whining and eye rolling when I said we would be trying out History Go Fish, but much to my surprise, both boys enjoyed playing this very much.”
“I like that there are three games built in one. Game 1 is like regular Go Fish, Games 2 and 3 test your knowledge on each topic. The more you play, the more fun facts you absorb.”
“The pictures are engaging.”
“My oldest said “it makes history fun-ish,” which is actually high praise from a 9 year old. We enjoy playing regular Go Fish, so to add historical topics was a wonderful addition to this game.”
“I would totally buy this for myself or as a gift. This company also sells other packs including Science, Dinos (coming soon), and a mini map puzzle. I love educational games that make learning fun.”
