The toy comes loosely in a box – everything is included and requires no set up to play. There are challenge cards which prompt a specific maze setup. However, free building is also possible.
The logic and spatial intelligence needed to visualize these mazes is not innate for everyone. It really requires patience and concentration. I like that this game can be played independently. My son can take his time and work through a challenge himself and it is very rewarding when he successfully solves a puzzle.
This is a great educational toy that really highlights critical thinking. The pieces are well made and durable.
The pieces are easy to stack. It is engaging for a wide audience as even adults can be stumped by the more challenging mazes and I’ve collaborated with my son on the hardest brainteasers.
I love that this is a screen-free game that requires brainpower. My son liked the hands on building and satisfaction of solving a maze.
