Imagine a musical vacation filled with Latin rhythms, Hawaiian ukulele, bouncy pop beats, California surf-style harmonies – all without leaving home. That is Happy Beach, Perry Springman’s first children’s CD, full of sunny optimism and positive values grounded in the reality of daily family life and delivered with an easy-going style and infectious ‘60s pop
sensibility.
Why we like it: Happy Beach is definitely a cheery place to be. Springman serves up 10 tracks of sweet, simple music that kids will enjoy and parents should approve of. He exhibits a nice touch in penning lyrics that children can easily relate to. While Springman inserts some religious messages into his songs, he soft sells it so you don’t really feel like you’re listening to a Christian music album.
