Evaluation comments:
“The premise of the game is that a beaver family is building a dam that turns a river into a calm pond so the ducks can enjoy it. The players build/connect their logs (10) to build the beaver lodge, the first to use all 10 wins.”
“It encourages thinking skills such as how to connect the log pieces, where to place them, how to “read” the die and follow directions. Fine motor skills are also utilized putting the “logs” together.”
“This is a cute game for children and once they are taught how to play, they can play it independently. I like that there are building skills and thinking skills. I also like that the pieces appear to be well made, which is important with a game being used by preschoolers.”
“This would be a great gift for a for a family with preschool-early elementary school children. It would be a fast, easy game for game night as the game only lasts about 15 minutes.”
