Highlights magazine—known for its fun with a purpose mission for the past 60 years—includes content and activities focused on helping children become their best selves through creativity, curiosity, confidence and compassion. Recently, Highlights underwent a redesign, keeping all the activities, puzzles, stories and fun kids have come to enjoy, but creating a more streamlined, clean publication. Children will still open its pages to find riddles, science experiments, craft projects, exciting topics and more.
Why we like it: Getting the chance to read “Highlights” was the only reason why I readily went to the dentist or doctor. Being able to work on the puzzles and read the articles (especially the “Your Own Pages” section) was really special. “Highlights” continues to delight young readers with its fun games and interesting articles. In addition, “Highlights” has a bilingual (Spanish and English) version called, “High Five Bilingue.” High Five to “Highlights”!!
