“This is a great educational tool.”
“The quality of this mystery box is excellent. It’s a cardboard box and one side has an opening that is partially covered by felt which you can stick your hand through to grab one of the fun mystery pieces inside. This mystery box teaches letters and letter sounds.”
“There is a nice, reversible alphabet board that has capital letters on one side and lower-case letters on the other.”
“This box is full of little treasures–26 to be exact–and each one represents a letter in the alphabet. The accompanying board is large so once you pull an item and figure out the corresponding alphabet sound, you can place it on the board. My daughter actually does something similar at school called “Mystery Letter” where every week a different letter is featured and you need to find a small object that started with that letter and come up with a clue to present it to the class. Now she has all the goods! She was very excited by this.”
“My younger son loved touching and exploring each object. They are well made and fun to play with. This is a wonderful and interesting educational toy/activity.”
“My daughter immediately got to work identifying the objects with their corresponding sounds. My son immediately got to work identifying the objects themselves. It was very cute and kept them busy for a while. We haven’t played with another toy like this–so simple and great.”
“I love all the little pieces this comes with. Keeps it interesting and fun.”
“I like this game. I have made games like this for preschoolers in the past, so it is nice that it is all in one package. The objects are well known to preschoolers such as apple, egg, nut, octopus, umbrella etc.”
“I like the fact that the board has lower and uppercase sides so children can learn both. I like that this can be used individually with a child or as a small group. Children will not only learn the alphabet and the letter sounds, but how to take turns with their peers.”
“I am looking forward to using this in the classroom.”
