Dave are back and flying high with their second release Life on a Trampoline. Jam packed with clever, cheeky songs that are laugh-out-loud funny, excellent music and lyrical wit. Peel away the layers of each song and listeners uncover something new every time they hear it. Randy is a little bit country, Dave is a little bit rock ‘n roll and together they add some jazz and blues for a style and sound all their own.
Our Music reviewers had this to say about Life on a Trampoline by Randy & Dave
“Randy & Dave are the Los Angeles-based singer/songwriters Randy Sharp and Dave Kinnoin, and their collaborations seem like a competition to see who can write a better song. The winner, of course, is the listener. You’ll start smiling from the opening tune (probably the catchiest tune ever about a fish cannery) through the closing pro-sharing song entitled “We Don’t Share.” Inbetween, there are some wonderfully weird story songs, like “Last Time I Was Here” and “A Weird Thing Happened,” as well as gloriously goofy tunes, such as “Not About” and “Semolina” (yes, that one is the probably the catchiest song every about a type of flour). Life On A Trampoline ranks high on this year’s list of best children’s albums. As an added bonus, they include the chords for each song in the CD’s booklet.”
