The Looney Oracle is a fortune telling toy that can offer cryptic advice on a topic of your choosing, or can answer any yes/no question. It is like a cross between a Magic 8 Ball and a fortune cookie. Both fun and surprisingly deep, the Oracle is a great take-along to parties and sleepovers. “This is a beautiful set of cards, especially the Oracle cards that have cool illustrations on them. The illustration themes range from The Bicycle all the way to Death. The illustrators are given credit in the thick cardstock information booklet.”
“The 80 Advice Cards do have actual good advice on them. Some examples include, “Faced with a choice? Do both things,” or “A goal without a plan is just a wish.” They are all practical, just vague enough, and well thought out sayings from throughout the ages. A majority of them can be used as affirmation cards. I appreciate that more thought was put into what advice was given.”
“My kids enjoyed seeing their brother’s question get shot down with an answer card that read, “Don’t bet on it.” Just like a Magic 8 Ball, there are going to be funny responses to the questions asked. My kids were very intrigued by the illustrations, but disappointed that it was “very doubtful,” that they would be the richest person in the world when they grew up, lol.”
