Evaluation comments:
“These cards are adorable. There are about the size of a greeting card. Subtly colorful–think pastels–and calming to look at which makes sense for affirmation cards. The cards themselves are thick and laminated; very nice quality. One side of the cards rotate through a pretty big selection of cute illustrations and gives a theme. The other side of the card explains the meaning of the theme and then gives questions to be used as talking points as well as ways to practice what you’ve talked about. The themes are relevant, timely, yet classic.”
“These are a nice and simple way to discuss topics that usually don’t come up in conversation naturally or organically like being mindful, worthy, or at peace. The last card is above self-love, which I think is wonderful for kids and helps build confidence.”
“These cards are useful to broach some typically tough subjects or subjects that don’t usually come up in everyday conversation. I haven’t seen cards like these whose sole focus is to talk without any elements of games, play, etc.”
“I like that the cards create meaningful and thoughtful talking points and conversation starters with your kids.”
“The box is adorably designed with cute colors and flowers. It looks like something that would make a great gift for a parent, teacher, or friend needing a pick me up or boost of confidence.”
“Some days, I find it hard to set aside calm, quality time to connect with my older daughter. This affirmation flash card deck helps with those conversation starters.”
“The content is very thoughtful. Each card has a simple affirmation with conversation starters or activities on the back. My preschooler understands most of the concepts and can interact with the content at 4 years old.”
“You can tell a lot of thought, research and experience went into the creation of these affirmations and their activities.”
“We started reading these affirmations at bedtime and it has become such a rewarding activity. My daughter looks forward to picking a card from the deck and saying the affirmation with me.”
“Each card has a simple affirmation on one side – “I am kind” – with a short, easy-to-read activity or reflection on the opposite side. I’d say 90% of the concepts are easy for my 4 year old to understand and connect with. As she gets older, the meaning of these will change and hopefully give her a renewed sense of confidence and self-love. It’s so nice to have this calm moment with her before bedtime to boost her self-esteem and show her how much I love and believe in her. Especially when the days are hectic or difficult, this activity brings us back together. Honestly, these are good reminders for me as well. I think these affirmations are beneficial for kids 3 to 100. The instructions also mention using these in school as well. I think it’s a great activity to incorporate into preschool circle time.”
“I love the conversation and connection these cards foster.”
