This is the story of eight-year-old Bryce, whose gender and ethnicity is purposefully made ambiguous so many kids can self-identify. Bryce receives news that their dad is going back to school. Bryce is excited that they can study together. Bryce also understands the need to pitch in because Dad will be extra busy. The book ends with graduation, a celebration and a surprise: Bryce’s mom announces that she too is going back to school!

“This is a simple story to help children understand what is going on when a parent goes back to school and things change around the house.”
“Easy to read, clear and concise. It is written in a developmentally manner for 3-6-year-old children (older is fine as well).”
“Provides a positive message for children.”
