This is the story of eight-year-old Bryce, whose gender and ethnicity is purposefully made ambiguous so many kids can self-identify. Bryce receives news that their mom is going back to school. Bryce is excited that they can study together. Bryce also understands the need to pitch in because Mom will be extra busy. The book ends with graduation, a celebration and a surprise: Bryce’s dad announces that he too is going back to school!
