“For beginners, such as myself, tutorials are set up to help learn the system- I believe it is necessary to learn to navigate everything. How to maneuver around the zoo, how to set up a habitat for the animals that includes vegetation, barriers (think protective such as a high enough wall so the lions do not jump out), terrain so the animals can get exercise and a glass wall or fence so that visitors to the zoo can observe. The enclosures need to be cleaned and maintained. There is a lot to do for the player- figuring out finances, making sure the animals are happy, making sure there are donation areas near each exhibit and educational information is visible. The visitors need to have food available for them, shopping, and bathrooms. Everything that is involved in a zoo, the player sets up. The program has so many choices and helps the player make decisions. It is challenging, educational (learn about the animals, learn about budgeting, all about zookeeping).”
