The swirled design makes it look like a marble bowl, but it’s made with the same food-grade silicone so it’s safe for kids. There is some kind of sand or something in the base that makes a soothing sound when you shake. I could see babies fascinated by this and also enjoying the feel of the scalloped edges.”

Because they are balls, my kids naturally want to throw them, which isn’t the best use of these since they’re pretty dense, but they seem to be able to take the abuse.”
