Potty Time ADVENTures, the first Toilet Training Advent Game. They have cleverly combined the design elements of an Advent Calendar with a Potty Training Chart so children are rewarded with hidden themed wood blocks. Available in three themes: Farm Animals, Dinosaurs and Busy Vehicles.
Evaluation comments:
“The box is cute and the miniature dinosaur toys are adorable. The process is very easy to understand from the instructions on the box, and the dinosaur theme made my child very excited about going to the bathroom to get them. The approach is different than what we’ve tried, so I was looking forward to trying another method.”
“The box opens up to a holiday advent calendar-style system where you get a mini wooden dino toy depending on how many times you successfully make a “deposit.” It’s packaged very well, and the perforated doors that hide the dinosaurs are secure, yet easy enough for my child to open. The dinosaur figurines are large enough to be safe, and they are painted and constructed well.”
“This is very useful. Potty training has not been easy for us, and my child likes having the extra incentive to get to the bathroom. The program starts with rewarding a dino every deposit, then moves on to every 2 deposits, and finishes with every 3. It leads you through 30 deposits. It has been successful for us so far, and we’re halfway through. It helps that my child loves dinosaurs! It also comes with a prehistoric scene and stickers to play with.”
“It makes potty training a game with rewards.”
“My child was very excited to get a sticker after each potty time and then get the reward blocks of animals. Sometimes he would sit on the potty even if he didn’t have to go just to get a prize!”
“My child now runs to the potty to go so this has been a great incentive for the training process.”
“The potty training process can be very stressful and we’ve tried books, candy, toys…etc, I really like the structure of a chart with prizes. My son loves looking at it in our bathroom like a fun game.”
