Lakeshore’s action-packed fire engine features a ladder that extends to over 2 feet high and rotates a full 360 degrees, a retractable fire hose and more. The truck opens to reveal an exciting command center with all kinds of authentic details built right in—from a radio and a computer to tools and gear. Kids just “dispatch” the 2 brave firefighters and their loyal Dalmatian—and send the smooth-rolling rig racing to any make-believe emergency!

“This is a perfect sized firetruck for imaginative play. It’s substantial enough to feel like you are receiving a very nice gift. I really appreciate the insert from Lakeshore that helps guide parents on how to play with this toy. It explains how the firehose has a working reel, that the ladder is extendable, and how to open the command center. The insert also gives parents the language to use to help build their child’s imagination and storytelling skills; i.e. “Ask, Where should the firefighter sit when they drive the truck?”
“The imaginative play has been endless with this toy. My 3-year-old and I have had many “rescue missions.” This toy has become a centerpiece toy in our living room. It is a toy that my kids keep coming back to because they have so many opportunities to make up stories/missions, for the firefighters to go on.”
“I love the small, yet important details on this truck. They have extending outriggers that help to teach kids about stability. The truck also comes with a Dalmatian, and 2 firefighters; one Black, and one white. I am thankful that toy creators are finally making diversity mainstream. The ladder extends over two feet and can rotate 360 degrees. My kids have bashed this truck against many other trucks, and really put it through the ringer over a few weeks, and its looks brand new.”
“My 3-year-old loves the ladder and hose for sure. He has even used the hose as a fishing lure, to “rescue people from the river.”
“It’s given us countless hours of imaginative play, and social/role-playing. I love the high quality of the materials; nothing seems like it’s going to snap off like a lot of other cheap plastic firetrucks. I love the diverse firefighters, and the adorable puppy too.”
“Firetrucks are usually a high stimulus toy because they usually come with lights and sirens. This would be a really nice option for children who don’t do well with loud noises or bright lights.”
