In this funny, illustrated storybook, Ty and Karlie build various robots to build simple, non-motorized robots during their adventure to an automated candy factory. The robots have moving parts, wheels, and gears, so kids learn firsthand about simple machines and gear trains. As you follow the story, you can build models of the ten robots featured. Large, colorful plastic building pieces make it easy for small hands to put the models together.
Why we like it: One feature I especially like about this product is the rubber wheel covers, they have great texture and add a sensory experience to the toy. I love the versatility of this product, not only does the booklet give you a variety of detailed instructions for different robots (following visual direction, step-by-step thinking process) but the pieces are simple enough to make a robot of your own creation (imagination and creativity).
