Evaluation comments:
“We enjoyed this. The object of the game is to move around the play area choosing species tiles and placing the tiles next to others to provide them with their needed habitats, creating an ecosystem. Players earn points when they meet the needs of their animals and the player with the most points at the end of all the rounds win.”
“Lots of learning involved too. Players learn about dryland, grassland, wetland and woodland habitats as well as what are the most important animals for each habitat to protect the balance of the ecosystem.”
“I think this will be very interesting to play. There is a fun facts booklet that has a lot of interesting things about the Serengeti-Mara- about the animals, bugs and plants. The game is well made. Younger children will need some support to understand the rules and to follow the directions. After a few times playing, they should get it and be able to play more independently.”
“The pictures are beautiful and learning about the ecosystem is very valuable.”
“Teachers and families will enjoy having this game as part of their collection.”
