Skillmatics High Contrast Flash Cards were designed by educators as a learning tool for babies 0-12 months. The black and white high-contrast images range from simple shapes to more complex patterns and objects to stimulate baby’s developing brain and vision in their first year. Prop cards up in the wooden stands for stimulating tummy time. As baby grows they can hold the durable, non-bendable cards independently and explore early object recognition and vocabulary.

“These flash cards are super!”
“The cards are double-sided and really thick with a nice glossy finish. There is a little Learning Guide pamphlet that gives you suggestions on how to use the cards depending on your baby’s age. It’s here that I learned there are Level 1 and Level 2 cards. The cards are categorized by either object or pattern.”
“The cards come with three wooden card stands that we have been using a lot during tummy time. The stands are adorable and hold the cards up perfectly. I really like that the kit included three stands because we can place a card on either side and in front of our son during tummy time for ultimate engagement. He seems to enjoy these cards as he intently looks at many of the cards and seems to want to hold his head up higher and longer to do so.”
“These cards have been great for engaging with our son. It can be difficult to find activities to do with an infant, so this is a great addition to our collection.”
“I love that it comes with a wooden stand to help keep the cards organized and help them stand up on their own.”
“The pictures are adorable and the cards themselves are thick and sturdy. They have a nice variety of different types of images included in the packaging. The images also progress from very simple shapes to more complex patterns, offering a good amount of variety.”
“I like the quality of this product and how many cards are included. There are so many different patterns and designs!”
“It’s a great tool to engage with your newborn. I love that it purportedly stimulates vision, improves baby’s ability to focus, and promotes brain development.”
“This is a great educational toy for a younger infant, I think these are perfect for tummy time, and the black and white is easier on a young infant’s vision.”
“My daughter is 15 months old and she really enjoyed playing with these since she’s starting to sound out words so it was fun for her to enjoy them that way, but I think they are really ideal for the younger infant set under 12 months.”
“I love the wooden stands they come with because they look cute in my child’s room and in the play room, and it also makes them perfect to use for tummy time. I also like the variety of designs in the high contrast pictures as it gives the baby a lot of different options to look at.”
