“Snow Is Falling! Songs for Christmas, Hanukkah & Kwanzaa with Sukey Molloy – reveals the delightful diversity of seasonal songs Sukey Molloy has wrapped up in her new album. She serves up merry performances of such Xmas classics as “A Holly Jolly Christmas,” “Santa Claus is Coming To Town,” “Up on the Housetop,” and “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” as well as “Feliz Navidad.” Included too are yuletide favorites as “Jingle Bells,” “Sleigh Ride,” “Frosty the Snowman,” and lovely instrumental versions of “Greensleeves” and “Good King Wenceslas.” The 18 tracks, however, also feature festive renditions of “Kwanzaa is Coming” and “Kwanzaa” along with several Chanukah songs, including two lesser-known Woody Guthrie tunes, ““Happy Joyous Hanuka” and “Hanuka Dance.” Molloy closes her jolly album with the title track, a sweet, gentle wintry tune featuring her original lyrics set to “Frère Jacques.”
