Introducing T.A.P.E.S. The ultimate Turn-Based. Approximate. Proportion. Estimation. Showdown…a wild new family party game from HOG WILD TOYS! Players guess the size of objects in the room using random – um, let’s say somewhat bizarre — units of measurement!! “How tall in gummy bears is that lamp?” Or “How wide is the coffee table in hamsters!?” The player closest to guessing the actual size, wins!
• In T.A.P.E.S., players use 16 wacky units of measurement ranging from Honeybees, Apples, Playing Cards, to Squirrels – to measure everyday items. For each of these unconventional units, the game has a correlating measuring tape for guestimating.
• Begin by spinning the wheel to see which “Challenge Effect” you’ll be using –“TAPES” which is basic play; “Close Up” measuring; “Blind Guess” and others.
• Next, select the object in the room in which you’re playing to be measured — like a flat-screen TV, refrigerator or even your grandma’s china cabinet! Then spin for which wacky unit of measurement you’ll use.
• The player with the highest score after four rounds is the winner!
Evaluation comments:
“I was blown away by this product at first glance. Right out of the package, you are instantly reminded of real tools/measuring tapes (think DeWalt brand), with its bold black and yellow color choices.”
“The game itself is super fun. Once we got the basic understanding of how to play, we had a blast. My family, including my husband, and our boys, played this for a solid hour.”
“My kids loved seeing which unit of measure they would land on. They also really enjoyed picking random objects in the house to measure.”
“It’s a great different type of game to add to your board game closet.”
