Dog just loves stories about superheroes and special powers, but Cat tells Dog that “Little Red Riding Hood” is not that kind of story. As Cat and Dog go back and forth telling the story and asking questions, young readers will cheer Dog’s persistent curiosity, as well as Cat’s dedication to storytelling.

Why we like it: Of all the fractured fairy tales out there, this is my favorite!  What a fun spin on the “Little Red Riding Hood” story! Young readers will suffer from fits of giggles.  This story has a very childish yet witty sense of playfulness.
