OMG! Delightful! Jack Black is the perfect reader for this story – He was very exciting and hammed up the story. He makes sounds and he does all the “voices.” Fun! There’s also fun musical accompaniments. Not to mention the fact that this is a charming story about monsters! However, this audio would be more enjoyable with the book. Super cute!

Why we like it: The Little Shop of Monsters is based on the picture book by R L Stine (who gave us the Goosebumps series for a bit older readers) and illustrated by Marc Brown (who gave us the Arthur series among other classics). Actor Jack Black with his gifted voice and talent is the narrator. What a talented trio for a collaboration!
