Zar and the Broken Spaceship by Dino O’Dell

Dinosaur O’Dell (better known to his fans as “Dino”), a children’s musician, educator and storyteller based in Kansas City, will publish a new picture book on World UFO Day, July 2, 2105. This is the storybook version of Dino’s new song and music video. Three young friends help a blingy, funky alien named Zar fix his crashed spaceship. Illustrated by Uruguayan artist Santiago Germano.

Why we like it: Helping is helping and communication is communication, even if the newest friend is a space alien with an entirely unknown language. Check out the animated video of this book on www.youtube.com. Budding sci-fi fans will enjoy this quirky book.
